Celebrating Spring Competition Winner ~ Lisa West
'Sakura Blossom'
by Lisa West from Swindon in Wiltshire
A little bit about Lisa ...
"I am married to Dan and I'm a full-time mum to my little boy, Elliot, who has just turned 1 year old.
Now the sleepless nights are subsiding, I am finding more time (and energy lol!) to craft again. I have been crafting as long as I can remember. When I was little, I used to cut up large pieces of paper to make small books and ask my mum to stitch them together. And she always joked that I owned more pens and paper than WHSMith! She still makes the same joke., But now says I have more paper than Hobbycraft!
My fave thing to do is Rubber Stamping. But I love to try new things and get my fingers messy. Sometimes, I don't make anything. I just sit and play with my inks and punches ... it's a bit like cooking ... a bit of this and a bit of that ... and just see what happens!"
Isn't Lisa's card just stunning? Thank you so much for entering the competition Lisa. And congratulations on being our VERY worthy winner : )
A HUGE thank you too, to everyone else who entered and made 'Celebrate Spring' such a fantastic competition. Your cards were all absolutely sensational.
For the past few years I've sponsored a category in the Cardmaker of the Year Competition run by Cardmaking and Papercraft and Quick Cards Made Easy. I'm going to take a break from that this year. And instead, I'm going to organise another competition just for Pink Petticoat later on in the year : )
And if you'd like to contact me please Lisa, your £50 cash prize will be on it's way to you!
