Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying creating with your new Colour Palette. And enjoying the sunshine too : )
Those of you that wanted to update your existing Colour Collection designs with the new colours, and have purchased the updates, will probably have noticed that the Solid Shades, which I used to include in every design folder, are no longer there. And there's a simple explanation for that.
It's because from now on, I will no longer be including the Solid Shades with every Colour Collection design folder you choose. Instead, I am making them available here on the blog, as a free download and which together with the Colour Palette and Colour Sampler, make up a complete collection of free colour resources you will find useful in your Pink Petticoat card making. All in a single, easy-to-find place.

All the files in the Colour Resource Collection are high-resolution pdf files, printing as individual A4 sheets. Pdf files offer the easiest way of printing. And you will need the free Adobe Reader to open and print them.
The Solid Shades also contain .tif files too. Tif files offer the best quality for printing. And they are the files I prefer to use for downloads you buy from the boutique. So the Solid Shades will download as a .zip file. And you also will need a Zip File Program, such as WinZip, to download and unzip them. (Or there is a free one *here* which you may download and use if you prefer.)
You can download ...
The Colour Collection Colour Palette *here* (2 mb)
Solid Shades *here* (503 kb) & your
Colour Sampler *here*. (931 kb)If the Colour Sampler is new to you, it's very simple to make and use ... I punched mine out using a 5cm square punch and popped it onto a book ring. It is my most-used colour tool. It makes choosing the colour palettes for my cards so much easier : )

And if you want to get creative straight away, I have designed a set of cards you can make using just the colours from the printed Colour Sampler. Right now : )

To make them, you will need ...
A6 White Card Blank
Sentiment printed onto the same White card
Linen Twine
Punched Butterflies
Small Pearls

1. Cut around your sentiment so it measures 1cm less in both width and height than your card base. Stitch on all four edges in a freestyle design, and tie your Linen Twine around it and into a bow.

2. Secure your sentiment to your card base, using 3D foam pads to give it depth and dimension, and leaving a 0.5cm border around it on all four edges.

3. Punch out your butterflies, and stick them down.

And your card is finished!
Just add little pearls to finish if you'd like : )

The colours I chose to use are (from the bottom) ...
Just Walnut, Soft Truffle & Cafe Creme
Wild Primrose, Goldenrod & Dainty Daffodil

Boutique Blue, Blue Quartz & Pebble Lagoon
Old Olive, Crushed Pistachio & Fresh Celery

Dusted Lavender, Lilac Bloom & Lovely Lilac
Summer Orchid, Sweet Bohemia & Cinder Rose
Perfect Papaya, Totally Tangerine & Sweet Apricot
Pretty : )
