Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge ~ Autumn Shades

Sunday. And there's a brand new Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge today : ) And the colour palette this month is the beautiful, distinctive colour palette of 'Autumn Shades' that we all love.

And, taking natural elements as my theme, these are my cards : )
They're simply made - card bases & mats from the 'Natural Neutrals' Paper Pack, with 'Thank You' Sentiments embellished with a selection of beautiful things from Mary's store.

The products I've used are ...

Natural Soft Hessian Mesh Ribbon,
Chocolate Button Twine,
Chartreus Green Tiny Ric Rac,
Dried Putka Pods, (aren't they just the cutest thing ever!!!!)
Golden coloured felt from the Vintage Wool Felt Squares Kit (which is simply gorgeous ... and my go-to felt),
a wooden button (which was the packaging from my felt),
a selection of small, plain buttons (which are actually much shinier & brighter & nicer than they appear on my photos),
and a little lemon button from a pack of pastel mixed buttons.

If you'd like to join in with the Challenge, the rules are very simple ... just make a new project using the Autumn Colour Palette, share it with us on The Ribbon Girl blog, and have fun doing it!

The challenge will close at 9pm on Saturday 3rd October. And there are two gorgeous prizes for the randomly chosen winner.

And don’t forget to pop over to The Ribbon Girl’s blog, and see all the gorgeous inspiration the other Design team members have created for you. They are a rather talented bunch of ladies.

I do hope you can join us. It's a fabulous colour palette to work with. And such a refreshing change from all those pastel colours we've been using throughout the summer. And before we get into the reds and greens of Christmas.
