Snowy White Christmas Cards

The second of my posts sharing super-quick, last-minute Christmas makes using just plain White Card & a few of the bits & bobs you have lying around your craft room.

And today, I have some ideas for Christmas cards and Christmas 'Thank You' cards : ) They literally take just a few minutes to make.

To make them, you will need ...
White 115mm Square Card Blanks
Corner Rounding Tool
3cm Snowflake Punch
Grey Baker's Twine
Printed Sentiments

TUTORIAL

1. Punch 3 snowflakes approx 1.5cm from the bottom of the blank card. It's easier to space them equally and neatly if you punch the centre one first, then the outer ones.
2. Using your corner-rounding tool, round both corners at the bottom of the card.

3. Tie a length of Baker's Twine around the card. Add a printed sentiment. And your card is finished!

And for these all-important Christmas 'Thank You' cards, you need even fewer supplies, and they take even less time to make.

To make these, you will need the same ...
White 115mm Square Card Blanks
& Corner Rounding Tool.
Along with the snowflakes you punched from the Christmas cards, finished with a little glitter. And a printed 'Thank You' Sentiment.

And to make them ...
Round all four corners of your card blank, and adhere your glittered snowflake & printed sentiment to the front. Done!

I think they're very stylish. Clean, simple & stylish.

And if you have any cut out shapes or printed sentiments left over, from either these or any other Christmas cards you're making this year, pop them on a cocktail stick and make Christmas cake toppers. They'll always look fabulous!

    1. Hi Kerry,

      Thank you : )
I bought mine from Crafty Charlie. It's a great place to shop. I've always had 100% fabulous service from the girls and I'm sure they'll help if they can. So it's probably a good place to start looking : )

      Best Wishes,
      Liz

  8. Just love these simple cards, so beautiful! I need a new corner rounder, can you please advise which one you use as it gives a larger corner roundness then mine. Thank you also for all the lovely treats, your work is so useable and I have used your Digi's time and again over the years and for all my cards for Christmas 2012. Look forward to seeing your 2013 collection, Happy New Year x

    1. Hi Sue,

Thank you : ) And Happy New Year to you too!
I use a Corner Chomper by We Are Memory Keepers. It has 2 different sizes for rounding corners - half inch & quarter inch. I tend to prefer the half inch size.
And it's my go-to tool for rounding corners!

      Best Wishes,
      Liz
