Mistletoe Kisses Sentiments

These are my new Christmas Sentiments which I've added to the Boutique today : ) They're called 'Mistletoe Kisses'.

They are a set of 12 sentiments, in a selection of hand-lettered typeface, and hand-drawn elements, in a mixed style. 4 of them have an image of Mistletoe too.

Christmas Traditions Image Stamps

This is my new set of Christmas Image Stamps which I've added to the Boutique today.
They are a set of icons which we traditionally associate with the Christmas season. And I've called them 'Christmas Traditions'

My Haberdashery Christmas Tree

I love making Christmas Tree cards. There are so many different ways to make a Christmas Tree aren't there? And decorate them too. I love playing about with the trimmings on a Christmas Tree card and just piling it all on!

Many of the cards which are my personal favourites from amongst all the cards I've ever made are Christmas Tree cards. Like this *Pom Pom Tree card*, and *this one* made from circles. I still like *this one* too, even though it is from too many moons ago, made from strips of card.

Winter Wishes & Joyeux Noel

When I was thinking about what I wanted to design for Christmas this year, in addition to some new images & sentiments and something new for The Colour Collection, I decided I wanted to try to design more than my usual single Pattern Paper Pack. This year, I wanted more choice.

I wanted something based on the classic Partridge In A Pear Tree theme, something a little frosty & wintry, with snowmen & polar bears. And I wanted something using the colours from The French Country Collection too. And with these ideas in mind, I started designing : )

Simplest Pear Cards

I think these cards might just be the simplest, and quickest cards I've ever made!

Using one of the pear die-cuts from 'Partridge In A Pear Tree' Images as a template, I drew around it on patterned paper, cut it out & glued it to the front of a hand-cut A6 card base, adding a bow to finish & a little silver sequin for a seasonal touch.

How To Add Rub-On Foil To An Image

Hi everyone!
How are you all getting on with crafting for Christmas? Have you started yet? Or is it still a little bit early for you?

In my pre-designer days , I didn't usually start actually creating anything until mid-October time. At this time of year I would have still been looking around for inspiration & making my decisions as to what I thought I might like to make ready to start shopping seriously for my supplies in a few weeks' time. I suppose I go through exactly the same process now - gathering inspiration & then creating. I just do it all a little bit earlier in the year. And I now include what I might like to design for Christmas as well as what I might like to create for it as well : )

One thing I have decided I wanted to do this year was to add foil to some of my projects. I like Rub-On foils. It's such a quick & simple technique to learn & to do. And when done properly, I think it gives a gorgeous finish.

So today, I wanted to do a quick tutorial to show you how to add Rub-On Foil to an image. Especially for those of you who've never tried it before : )

Partridge In A Pear Tree

The newest additions to the Pink Petticoat Christmas Collection are in the Boutique today!

They're 'Pear Tree' & they are a set of Patterned Papers and a set of co-ordinating Image Stamps too.

I've used colours mainly from The French Country Colour Palette for the papers, including Pear (of course!), Custard, Oyster & Alabaster along with a touch of Silver from the main Colour Palette.

The last day of November. A good time, I think, to complete the Pink Petticoat Christmas Collection for 2014.

So far, we've had new Sentiments, a new Pattern Paper Pack & lots of cute new Image Stamps. The only thing we haven't had, are some new additions to The Colour Collection.

Dear Santa ...

So today I'm showing you the final additions to the Boutique I had planned for Christmas this year. They are 2 new sets of Image Stamps...

-'Dear Santa', a set of cute, chubby Father Christmas images, with a big bushy beard & moustache, &
-'Jolly Reindeers', a fun set of 8 little reindeer images, his trusty little friends all dressed up for Christmas!

Don't You Just Love Little Gingerbread Men?

You do? Then you're going to just love the new Image Stamps which I added to the Boutique yesterday : )

They are called 'Sugared Spice' and they are a set of 7 little gingerbread boys & girls, 4 boys & 2 girls all dressed up for Christmas. And a single, traditional gingerbread man.

Frosty Friends & Cool Yule

These are my new Image Stamps which I added to the Boutique this afternoon : )

There are 2 different sets - 'Frosty Friends', a set of 8 fun little snowmen & 'Cool Yule', a set of 8 cute little penguins. They both have 2 different sets of sentiments. And both sets are complimentary & work beautifully together, which is perfect for bulk-making Christmas cards or putting together cards into sets.
