Chevrons, Quatrefoil, Tiny Everyday & Tiny Hello Sentiments

Today, I'm showing you 4 new additions to the Boutique : )
3 new additions to the Colour Collection, all of which are as suitable for men's cards as they are for ladies'.

And 2 new additions to the 'Tiny Sentiments' series. I'll take you through each one in detail, and I have a card tutorial for you at the end of the post.

So ... grab a coffee ... there's a lot to tell you!

1. Colour Collection Papers ~ 'Quatrefoil'

The first of my new additions to the ever-so-popular Colour Collection, is my 'Quatrefoil' design. A very trendy, must-have design. This set ...

- includes a single paper design
- in both both positive and negative design options.
- it includes all 38 colours of the Colour Palette
- with White.
- The designs print as individual A4 sheets
- and it's retail price will be £1.99.

2 / 3. Colour Collection Papers ~ 'Bold Chevrons'.

The second, and third of my new additions to the Colour Collection are these 'Bold Chevrons' and 'Small Chevrons' designs. Also very current, very trendy, must-have designs. These are, each ...

- They are each in a single design option.
- It includes all 38 colours of the Colour Palette
- with White .
- The designs print as individual A4 sheets
- and it's retail price will be £1.99.

3. 'Tiny {Everyday}' Sentiments

A new addition to the 'Tiny Sentiments' Series. 'Tiny {Everyday}' Sentiments contains a selection of sentiments for the least formal cards we make. And the cards we make most often - birthdays.

The set includes 24 sentiments, in mixed-typeface style, printing as a single sheet of A4 with a white background. Ready for you to cut or punch out. It will retail for £1.49.

4. 'Tiny {Hello and Goodbye}' Sentiments

A second new addition to the 'Tiny Sentiments' Series. 'Tiny {Hello and Goodbye}' Sentiments contains a selection of sentiments for hello and goodbye moments, including, amongst others, moving home, retirement and a new job.

The set includes 24 sentiments, in mixed-typeface style, printing as a single sheet of A4 with a white background. Ready for you to cut or punch out. It will retail for £1.49.

You can find 'Quatrefoil' & 'Chevron' designs on *this* page in the Boutique.

And 'Tiny {Everyday} Sentiments' are *here* and 'Tiny {Hello & Goodbye} Sentiments' *here*.

And I hope you like them!
And to make this card ...

You will need ...
Cream card blank
Patterned paper
Matching paper for insert
Buttons
Kraft Button Twine
Printed Sentiment
Cream Thread for stitching

1. Cut the patterned paper 2cm less than your card base, in both length and width. You want to leave a 1cm border around it on your finished card. Stick the patterned paper, centrally, to the card base, and stitch along the top and bottom edges using a freestyle straight stitch.

2. Add your buttons.

3. Cut out your sentiment, shape it gently (as shown) between your fingers, and mount it to your card. And tie a length of Kraft Button Twine around the top.

4. Add your insert, trimmed to size, to the inside of your card ...

... and your card is finished!

  2. Hi Liz
Loving the new papers - especially the Quatrefoil - and as you say perfect for male cards.
I also love the sentiments - I don't have many sentiment stamps - I tend to just use the PC but your sentiments are perfect for any occasion.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the concert - did you get to do some shopping too?
    Have a fab day.

  6. Hi Liz,
I read your post and apart from all of the oo-ing and ahh-ing at all the new releases this week and getting 'egg-cited' about your new Easter releases next week (sooo can't wait for these!), I can totally empathise with your desire to acheive this year...for me too, last year was a 'year that wasn't' as I ended up have serious spinal surgery which took out 10 months of the 12!! My to-do list now like yours is a long one, including setting up my own blog and facebook page where I can see about selling my cards...so much do to but as you say, we are now coming into the season of new beginnings and creativity and I am sure we will both make the most of it!
