A Farewell To Pink Petticoat

Today, I am bringing you my final ever post at Pink Petticoat.

A little while ago, I decided that I needed to take a break from my online paper world & step away from my computer for a little while. And I’ve spent more time doing other things. And it's made me realise that at this point in my creative journey, Pink Petticoat is not where I need to be.

I’m not too sure what I’ll do next. I’ve always loved playing with both paper and fabric. Perhaps I’ll play with fabric for a while.

I do feel, however, that if I'm going to give whatever I do next the best possible chance of being as good as it can be, I need to take some time to focus on it & think seriously about it.

Which means that it's time for me to say goodbye to Pink Petticoat & I'll be closing down the Boutique at the end of the month.

If you're secretly hoping this means there's a closing down sale going on in the Boutique so you can stock up on all those items you still have on your wish-list, then yes, there is. *Here* Enjoy!

But before I disappear from here completely, I want to thank each & every one of you, for your friendship, your support, & your company during the last 9 years. When I first started Pink Petticoat, I could have never imagined all of the amazing experiences that my small creative venture would bring into my life or the incredible people I would get to know. This chapter of my life been the most amazing journey for me. And you have been the best & brightest part of it. I couldn't have done any of it without you & you have all touched my life in ways that will stay with me forever.

So from the bottom of my heart … thank you. I sincerely hope we bump into one another again.
Stay creative : )

  7. It sounds like a huge decision, but the right one. It's funny how creatively we adapt and spread our wings, simply with time. Like you, I moved away from blogging and cardmaking (where it all began) and am now besotted with fabrics. All I can think about is my next sewing project. I can't imagine life without sewing.
I used to try and please everyone else with my blogging until I realized I wasn't happy. Now I am content, just pleasing myself.
    All the very best Liz.
    Goodbye Pink Petticoat. 💗

  12. Oh my! I didn't see this coming. I've been buying your digi images and papers almost from the start. First CD I have has 2007 on the label. You've created some of my favourite digi images and papers. Personally I will miss Pink Petticoat as my 'go to' place for digi. But very warm wishes and best of luck for the next chapter in your creative journey. Hugs, Pauline xx

  86. I know this was a decision that didn't come lightly! But you have made it and I think you will go far with your fabric the same as you did with your boutique!! I hope whatever you do with fabric, you will find a way to share it with your viewers. I love fabric but never learned how to work with it or to sew even though there were sewers all around me. So I'm happy for your decision and I know you will be too. Not going to say good luck because I don't think you need it! Hugs, Brenda
