Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge

Today's the day we have a new Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge : )
The colour palette this month is pink, lilac, blue, green & tangerine.
And this is my card. The styling is oh-so-simple - the card base is the softest shade of white, and I've used The Ribbon Girl's fabulous products to add the colours, texture & dimension. I chose Button Twine in Natural and a selection of Pastel Buttons.

To make it, I cut an A6 card base and a mat from 340gsm white card, which I'd printed using 'Chalk Dust' from 'Natural Neutrals'.

I wrapped my Button Twine around the mat several times and tied it into a casual bow. And added the buttons. Then I stamped my sentiment using my all-time favourite alphabet stamps - the Printer's Type Lowercase Alphabet Set by Hero Arts - and mounted my mat onto my card base.

And voila! Card completed. And it only took around 10 minutes to create.

If you'd like to join in with the Challenge, the rules are very simple ... just make a new project using the colours pink, lilac, blue, green & tangerine. And enjoy doing it!

The challenge will close at 9pm on Saturday 1st September. And there are two lovely prizes for the randomly chosen winner.

Don’t forget to pop over to The Ribbon Girl’s blog, and see all the gorgeous inspiration the other Design team members have created for you.

And I do hope you can join us. It's a gorgeous colour palette to work with. The colours are just sooooo pretty!
