I've added a little something new to the Boutique this morning : ) It's a new set of sentiments, with a romance theme, which I've called 'Happy Heart'.

'Happy Heart' is a set of 24 sentiments, in a selection of hand-lettered and mixed-typeface styles. And they are all for telling someone special just how much you love them. The set does include a couple of sentiments specifically for Valentine's Day, the biggest day for love of the year, and our next big card making occasion. But they are suitable for many more special moments & occasions too : )

The Ribbon Girl February Colour Challenge ~ Turquoise

There's a brand new Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge today. And the colour palette this month is 'Turquoise'.

I have to admit, turquoise is not a colour I use very often. I think we all have colours we're absolutely & totally in love with - colours that we're just drawn to using when we're putting a card together. And turquoise is not usually one of those colours for me. So, I found creating a card with turquoise quite a challenge. But ... that's the point of a Challenge isn't it? To take us out of our creative comfort zone and experiment a little.
